Why life insurance?

  1. How does life insurance ease stress for loved ones?

if you have a co-signer on a loan, if your family is financially dependent on you and you have a mortgage, if you need a way to save money without the government dipping their hands in - a life insurance policy can help!

2. How can you use your policy to pay bills?

you can access your cash value to make payments on bills if you run in to any hardship. There are also term policies that have a return on premium option which means at 30 years you will get $50,000 plus back in cash!

3. how does it save the family home?

term policies are specific to asset protection. You can pull a policy for $500,000, for a lower premium that whole life, to cover the cost of your mortgage in the case you pass away prematurely.

4. How can a policy pay for your child’s education?

if you open a universal life policy chances are the cash value will increase faster than a regular whole life - which you can pull out and apply towards tuition costs. The kicker is, however, that a UL is dependent on the stock market so it isn’t guaranteed that your policy won’t begin defunding before your kids hit college age.

5. To protect you business:

there are key employee policies that you can open so if one of your primary workers passes away you have enough money to cover the cost of finding a replacement employee. You can also open policies in a partner situation to ensure if one passes the company you each have worked hard to build doesn’t go under.

6. How can you secure your retirement?

the cash component of some life insurance policies (cash value) that may act as retirement income for individuals. Though life insurance should not be considered as a replacement to other traditional retirement plans. The best way to invest in retirement with life insurance is a return on premium term policy.

7. Use as a source of cash

see answer to number 6. Cash value may be helpful but not long term dependable.

8. To cover end of life expense

this is the BEST way to utilize life insurance. I have the privilege of working with the top providers in Colorado that provide day one coverage for up to $40,000 face value. Final expense averages $15,000 from how your buried, what your buried in, any left over medical bill that may need to be paid off, coverage of the pastor for your service, coverage of the meal to feed your family after your funeral so they can focus on celebrating your life rather than cooking or begging for money from others to cover the cost of inevitable end of life expense.

9. Leave an inheritance!

I assume you do not want to leave your children or family members in a worse off position than you were. Investing in a life insurance policy ensures your family will be taken care of for weeks, months, even years after your passing. There’s no greater gift than continuing the show of love for your family than continuing to help them long after you’ve gone.

10. Give your family control over their financial future

as stated in number 9, leaving your children and/or family members, with life insurance money they can use to pay your final expenses, catch up on their own bills, or save for their own children's future is a wonderful way to leave a positive and loving legacy.
